The all-new Creta EV teaser has been uploaded on the Hyundai India portal, and it provides information about the charging socket placed at the front, which we've already seen in several Tata EVs. As for its other design elements, the Creta EV will resemble its ICE counterpart. Several spy shots reveal that, apart from the alloy wheel design and the front fascia, there will be no significant differences.

However, the interior design could be revised to make it more premium. Definitely, it will pack more features than the regular Creta, as EVs usually start at a higher price. To justify the higher price tag, automakers typically make them ultra-premium.

Verdict

The Hyundai Creta EV is just around the corner, and we can't keep calm. After all, this vehicle is expected to provide the much-needed push to electric vehicles in India, and there's a lot riding on it. The Creta has transformed the SUV landscape in India and defines the compact SUV segment, so it's fair to expect the same from its electric counterpart. For more news like this, follow 91Wheels.
