The Mercedes Benz has launched six models in India from the beginning of 2024 till now. According to the automaker's announcement, it will launch six more models in India by late 2024. The upcoming models will probably include models such as the new Mercedes E-Class, G-Class EV and Maybach EQS. Mercedes confirmed this news at the India launch of the all-new EQA and EQB. Besides revealing the prices of the EQA and EQB facelift, Mercedes-Benz India has announced bookings for the all-electric G-class. It is expected to arrive in India at around Rs 3 crore (Ex-showroom). The G 580 with EQ technology sources its power from a 116 kWh battery pack that provides up to 473km of range (WLTP). The G-Class will feature a 4WD drive configuration with 4 motors (one on each wheel). This powertrain will provide a maximum power output of 587 bhp and a peak torque of 1,164 Nm.

The new Mercedes E-Class LWB will make its India debut around this festive season. It is poised to be a straight rival in front of the newly launched BMW 5 Series Long Wheel Base. The upcoming E-Class will expectedly offer two powertrain options including a mild-hybrid petrol and a diesel unit. However, the upcoming Mercedes E-Class LWB will be shorter in length when compared to the new BMW 5 Series LWB, the interior thing is going to be the deciding factor for the luxury sedan.

As for the features, it will get a 14.4-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument console. We will also see a 12.3-inch passenger infotainment touchscreen on the upcoming E-Class LWB. Talking about the price, it will expectedly land on Indian shores with a starting price tag of Rs. 70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mercedes will also launch its most expensive E-SUV, the EQS in India this year. The upcoming will get more chrome treatment than the currently available EQS in the international market. The Maybach EQS will redefine luxury in its class with signature Maybach Wheels, differentiating design language and most importantly the dual-tone paint theme. The Maybach EQS will expectedly make its way to India in 680 form.

The luxury SUV will source its power from a 108.4kWh battery pack which will enable a driving range of 600 km on a single charge. The upcoming E-Class will come with a dual-motor setup, generating a maximum power output of 658 bhp and a massive peak torque of 950 Nm. The E-Class is capable of sprinting from 0-100 in just 4.4 seconds. We are expecting this SUV to be available in India with a price tag of around 4 Crore (ex-showroom).
