Aprilia Tuono 457 Design
The Aprilia Tuono 457 presents a distinct departure from the styling of its larger siblings, the naked design exudes a compelling sense of muscularity and presence, a departure from the Aprilia RS 457. While its aesthetic qualities are evident in photographs, a definitive assessment awaits a real-world encounter, where we can judge it for what it is, in front of us. The twin headlamps, complemented by winglet-inspired detailing beneath, flow seamlessly into a robust fuel tank and sculpted shrouds. All in all, the bike does look sharp and muscular with pretty appealing visuals all around.
The Aprilia RS 457 and Tuono 457 share a common foundation, utilizing the same chassis, frame, wheels, and braking system. In terms of features, this streetfighter is equipped with traction control, LED lighting, selectable riding modes, ABS, and a vibrant color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The Tuono 457's suspension comprises preload-adjustable USD front forks and a mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by single discs at both ends, mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyres.

Powertrain
The Tuono 457 is driven by a liquid-cooled, 457cc, twin-cylinder engine that produces 46.9bhp at 9400rpm and 43.5Nm of torque at 6700rpm. This is the same engine that does duty on the Aprilia RS 457 and has already proven its mettle.
Verdict
The Tuono 457 will be a valuable addition to the 457 family, particularly given the enthusiastic reception of the sporty RS 457 among motorcycle enthusiasts. Leveraging the proven performance of the RS 457's parallel-twin engine, the streetfighter variant already has the performance in bag, expanding the appeal to a broader customer base. However, it is anticipated that the Tuono 457 will command a premium price point, something that has not been a dealbreaker for the Italian manufacturer.
