Zelio X-Men 2.0 Electric Scooter
The Zelio X-Men 2.0 is a low-speed electric scooter, with the styling and aesthetics of a maxi-scooter, but with lesser focus on tech wizardry and more on affordability. Surprisingly, this scooter is being offered with two lead-acid battery pack options, although two Lithium-ion battery pack options are available as well.
The lead-acid battery pack options include a 1.92kWh unit and a 2.3kWh unit. Prices for the 1.92kWh variant begin from Rs 71,500, while the 2.3kWh variant can be had from Rs 74,000 (all prices ex-showroom). The lead-acid battery variants can be fully charged in a claimed time of 8-10 hours.
The Lithium-ion battery pack options include a 1.8kWh variant, which can be had from Rs 87,500, along with a 2.3kWh variant which can be had from Rs 91,500 (all prices ex-showroom). This variant takes a claimed time of 4-5 hours for a full charge.
Zelio E-Bike also claims that the X-Men 2.0 can cover a claimed range of 100km on a single charge, with a top speed of 25kmph. A claimed kerb weight of just 90kg makes it even lighter than the Yamaha Fascino, and it gets a payload capacity of 180kg.

Verdict
The Zelio X-Men is an interesting option for those who want a low-speed electric scooter, but with the looks of a more premium maxi-scooter. At this price range, there aren't many features on offer, and the lead-acid battery variants are quite affordable, but not many manufacturers make lead-acid battery packs anymore.
