The 2025 Toyota Camry has been launched at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. On the other hand, the Lexus ES sits in a higher price bracket, starting at around Rs. 64 lakh (ex-showroom) for its base variant and going up further to Rs. 69.70 lakh.
A price difference of approximately 16 lakh begs the question: what does the Lexus ES offer that the Toyota Camry does not? Is this gap justified by performance, features, and overall ownership experience?
2025 Toyota Camry Vs Lexus ES: Design
The 2025 Toyota Camry brings in a fresh design that looks more aggressive and modern compared to its predecessor. It features an aggressive profile with a hammerhead grille, sharp lines, a large front grille and stylish LED headlights. The India spec Camry's front profile seems heavily inspired by the Toyota Prius. The Camry remains a sedan that strikes a balance between premium appeal and subtlety. While the Lexus ES is powered by the same petrol engine/hybrid setup as the Camry, it makes lesser power output which is around 218 PS.
