Your favorite scooter, the TVS Jupiter, just got updated! Yes, one of the best-selling scooters in India has entered its next generation, and its now called the TVS Jupiter 110. It carries forward the same 110 cc engine but now produces a little more power. The main focus is on the exterior, where the design is all new and looks premium, thanks to the sleek LED DRL fixed at the front, giving it a rich face.

TVS Jupiter 110 Key Features
LED DRLs
The new look of the TVS Jupiter is all set to turn a lot of heads because, with the integration of the LED DRL, the whole face has transformed. Elegance is evident from every angle, and the piano black material that sits in between, resembling a nose on this scooter, also adds to its elegant aesthetics. Move up, and you'll notice the new LED headlight, which has been redesigned to be slimmer and more angular. Above that, TVS adds a cap of piano black finish, giving the scooter a dual-tone appearance.
Rear end again features an sleek and long LED DRL, that intergerated in that piano black design element, and that is also segment first characterisitc. Also, an important thing is, this scooter turn indicators are also integerated in that Infinite DRL.
Digital Tachometer
Gone is the analog tachometer, and welcome the digital one, which also comes with the TVS SmartXonnect feature. This lets you connect your smartphone to receive updates like turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, distance-to-empty meter, two trip meters, range, mileage, and other necessary data.
Plus, the placement of this LED screen is perfect because even in daylight, the information is clearly visible.Additionally, there is a USB charging socket for your smartphone, next to the key placement.
iGO Assist
This technology helps you save more fuel by turning off the engine when it detects that the scooter hasn't been in motion for a few seconds, especially at red lights. The iGO assist's other task is to provide extra torque when the throttle is pulled to the maximum, which is useful during overtakes in bustling traffic. That said, engine makes 7.9 Bhp and 9.2 Nm, but when the iGO Assist activates, the torque increases to 9.8 Nm. The official mileage figures aren't out yet, but expect nothing less than 55 kmpl.
Longest Seat in the Segment
According to TVS, this is the longest seat in the segment, perfect for two people along with some luggage. Also, this scooter weighs only 105 kg, which means riding it with luggage and a pillion rider won't feel heavy. To add more about its ride quality, the front end features telescopic hydraulic suspension, while the rear has three-step adjustable twin tube shocks. Expect nothing but a smooth, cloud-like ride on the Jupiter 110.
Variants and Colours
So, this scooter is available in four variants, with the first one being the TVS Jupiter Drum at Rs 73,700 ex-showroom, and it comes in three colors: Meteor Red Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte, and Lunar White Gloss. In this base variant, there's an analog tachometer, no front LED DRL, and no disc brakes.
The second variant is the Drum Alloy, priced at Rs 79,200. As the name suggests, it features alloy wheels, which give it a smarter appearance. The same limitations apply in terms of features: no digital tachometer, no front LED DRL, and no disc brakes. The color options are the same, with the addition of Starlight Blue Gloss, making it a total of four colors.
Third one is a SmartXonnect Drum, and it costs Rs 83,250, and here three colour options are avialable: Starlight Blue Gloss, Dawn Blue Matte, and Galactic Copper Matte. In terms of features, the signature LED DRL is provided along with the digital dispaly with all the connected features.
The last and top-spec variant is the Disc Brake SmartXonnect, priced at Rs 87,250. It has the same color scheme as the previous model, with the only difference being the addition of a 220 mm front disc brake.

Verdict
So the all-new Jupiter 110 is here, and it looks fantastic. From the photos, it looks wider, and the TVS spokesperson also said the chassis has been strengthened more for better stability. Plus, the seat is also bigger, which translates to longer journeys being more comfortable. So for the people who often say that the mass-market scooter segment is boring and only suits older people, this is the answer from TVS. Now, whether it will lower the sales of the Honda Activa 6G as it gets more features and a striking-looking front end, lets see.
