Bajaj Auto India has expanded the Pulsar lineup in India with the launch of the new Pulsar N125 last month. The brand has launched the motorcycle with an all-new design, new features, and a new engine. The Pulsar N125 is launched at a starting price of Rs 94,707 (ex-showroom) which goes up to Rs 98,707 (ex-showroom). LED Headlamp & Taillamp
The LED headlamp and taillamp are now becoming a standard in the 125cc segment. The new Pulsar N125 also comes with an LED headlamp and taillamp setup. The brand has added a sharp LED headlamp unit which gives it a sharp front profile. The rear gets a signature split LED taillamp similar to every Pulsar model. However, the brand has not given an LED DRL and LED turn indicators to the new Pulsar model.
Variants Available: The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is available in two variants and the LED headlamp and taillamp are standard on every Pulsar N125 model.
Competition Check: The new Pulsar N125 competes with the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider 125. Both the rivals come with LED lighting across all the variants. Moreover, the Xtreme 125R and the Raider 125 get LED DRL and LED turn indicator which gives them an edge over the Bajaj Pulsar N125.
Digital Instrument Cluster With Bluetooth Connectivity
Bajaj Auto has offered a digital monochrome LCD instrument cluster in the top-spec variant of the motorcycle. Moreover, this instrument cluster supports Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth connectivity helps the rider to see calls and SMS notifications on the instrument cluster. Moreover, the rider can see missed call alerts and can accept or reject incoming calls while riding the motorcycle.
Variants Available: The full digital console is available in the top-of-the-line variant which is priced at Rs 98,707 (ex-showroom). The lower-spec base variant comes with a semi-digital console and it doesn't get Bluetooth connectivity.
Competition Check: The Hero Xtreme 125R also comes with a digital negative display with Bluetooth connectivity and similar to the Pulsar N125 it also gets SMS and call alerts on the screen. On the other hand, the TVS Raider's top spec model comes with a 5-inch coloured TFT screen that supports Bluetooth connectivity turn-by-turn navigation, and voice assist.
Integrated Starter Generator
Integrated Starter Generator is the feature commonly seen in the scooter segment. Bajaj Auto has added this feature in the new Pulsar N125. The Pulsar N125 is powered by a 124.58cc air-cooled engine producing 12 PS of power and 11 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is the newest addition in the highly competitive 125cc segment. The brand has added a lot of features but the rivals still offer some more feel good features. Moreover, the departure from the Pulsar N series design language is something which can turn off some of the customers.
