Hero Splendor Plus Drum Brake- Base
The Splendor Plus Drum Brake is the most affordable variant on offer which comes with a price tag of Rs. 89,787 (on-road, Delhi). This variant lacks most of the features on offer with the commuter bike.
This variant gets an analogue instrument console and differs from other variants because of its bright colour engine crankcase. You get around 5 colour options if you buy this variant- Sports Red Black, Black Grey Stripe, Force Silver, Blue Black and Black Red Purple.
Splendor Plus i3S Drum
The Splendor Plus i3S Drum takes place in the middle of the range. This variant gets the brand's i3S technology which offers idle start/stop functionality and switches of the engine if the bike is at a standstill for a few seconds. This functionality helps improve fuel efficiency in city traffic conditions.
It differs from the base variants because of its darker engine crankcase, but there are no other noticeable differences. The colour schemes available with the variant are also the same as the base variant. Notably, this variant is also available with a differing Black and Accent colour scheme that offers an all-black finish on the body without any graphics. However, both standard i3S and Black and Accent come at the same price tag of Rs. 90,281 (on-road, Delhi).
Splendor Plus i3S Matt Axis Grey Variant
The latest addition to the lineup, the i3S Matt Axis Grey has been positioned as a special edition of the commuter motorcycle. This variant gets a matte black finish throughout the body with white strips in various places such as the headlight cowl and fuel tank. Even the side panel also get white stripes over the black finish.
However, this variant has nothing to showcase except for the paint scheme. It gets the same features offered with the mid-spec i3S mid-spec variant. As for the pricing, you need to pay Rs. 92,964 (on-road, Delhi) for this variant.
Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0
The Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 is another new addition to the Splendor range. The Hero Moto Corp launched this variant celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Splendor Plus in India. Replacing the previously available Splendor Plus Xtec variant, this variant offers some major upgrades over other variants such as an LED headlight with integrated H-shaped LED DRLs and H-shaped tail light. Additionally, you also get a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity which offers features such as call/SMS alerts.
