Honda Activa 125: Remote keyless ignition
The Honda Activa 125 is the first 125cc scooter to feature remote operation for the keyless ignition system, which is part of Honda's H-Smart technology. In addition to keyless ignition, the H-Smart technology has a few other features, such as smart finding and smart unlocking of the external fuel filler with the help of a remote key.
Competition Check - While the Activa 125 has the segment-exclusive remote keyless operation for ignition, smart finding and opening of external fuel filler, no such features exist in the Suzuki Access and TVS Jupiter 125.
Honda Activa 125: External fuel filler
As mentioned above, the Activa 125 was updated with an external fuel filler. This feature allows the rider to remain seated at fuel filling stations and open the external fuel filler cap without opening the seat.
Competition check - Like the Activa 125, the Suzuki Access 125 and TVS Jupiter 125 also have external fuel fillers, with the Jupiter 125 at the front.
Honda Activa 125: Idle Start-Stop system
One of the latest fuel-saving technologies to appear in mass-market two-wheelers in recent years is the idle start-stop system, which is also present in the Activa 125. This feature shuts off the engine when the scooter is brought to idle and re-ignites it once the throttle is twisted.
Competition check - Both the Suzuki Access 125 and TVS Jupiter 125 do not get the idle start-stop system which is offered in the Honda Activa 125 as standard.

Honda Activa 125: LED headlamp and DRLs
As it has already become a norm in the 125cc scooter category, the Honda Activa also has an LED headlamp, with sleek LED DRLs placed on the front apron of the scooter. The LED lighting at the front increases the illumination of the road ahead while making the Activa 125 look stylish when viewed head-on.
Competition check - Like the Activa 125, the Access 125 and Jupiter 125 have LED headlamps and LED DRLs for a more premium appeal.
Honda Activa 125: Side stand engine cut off
Another feature that is becoming standardised among scooters and is present in the Activa 125 is the side stand engine cut-off. This feature is crucial for beginner riders, as it prevents the rider from turning on the scooter's ignition without removing the side stand from its rest position.
Competition check - The Access 125 and Jupiter 125 also come with side-stand engine cut-off features like the Activa 125.

Verdict
With a more premium and sophisticated design over the comparatively affordable 110cc Activa, the Honda Activa 125 justifies its premium positioning over the former with a more powerful engine. The contemporary appeal of the Activa 125 is only accompanied by these premium convenience and safety features, with the remote keyless operations giving it an edge over other 125cc scooters. That being said, the Activa 125 has a few misses, such as a lack of Bluetooth connectivity and under-seat storage that's smaller than both Access 125 and the best-in-class compartment of the Jupiter 125.
