Design

The Tata Curvv EV has introduced a new coupe design. The coupe aesthetics combined with the brand's original EV-specific design language make this E-SUV an attention-grabbing car. In the front, the connected LED DRLs look really amazing. Also, there are vertically stacked headlamps which seem to be derived from the Harrier SUV.

In terms of side profile, the Coupe electric SUV gets heavy-looking body cladding, R18-inch alloy wheels and flush-fitting door handles. These design elements contribute to the modern look of the electric SUV. At the rear too, things look quite improved than the Nexon EV with design elements such as connected LED tail lights, a skid plate and a big and heavy-looking bumper.

Performance

The Tata Curvv EV excels in performance as well. It comes powered by a 123 kWh battery pack which comes paired with two battery pack options- 1 45 kWh unit and a 55 kWh unit. The coupe SUV can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kph in just 8.6 seconds. The 45 kWh battery pack (medium-range) variant provides a driving range of 502 km/charge and the 55 kWh unit on the other hand enables a range of 585 km/charge. Additionally, there are four-level battery regeneration system that can be controlled with the paddle shifters. So, I have no complaints when it comes to the performance aspect.

Features

The Tata Curvv offers the most advanced features which should be there in a modern E-SUV. It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch driver's display, premium JBL 9 speaker music system with a 320W sub-woofer. Additionally, there are features such as a six-way powered driver seat, ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof. The electric SUV also carries tech inside the cabin such as Arcade.ev which allows gaming OTT streaming while on a standstill.

Premium and Upmarket Feel

The all-new Tata Curvv EV offers a premium feel inside the cabin. The upholstery on the seats feels nice and satisfying at this price point. The plastic used for dashboard and door covers has a decent texture and it doesn't let you feel like you are sitting in a budget EV car. Overall, the cabin feels quite upmarket which is a good deal indeed.

A Good Safety Suite on Offer

The Tata Curvv EV offers the highest level of safety in the segment with features like six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors and electronic stability control. All these features are a standard offering across all the variants of the SUV. The higher trims get added features such as front parking sensors, 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, and ADAS Level 2 with features like lane keep assist, collision avoidance assist and adaptive cruise control.
