All variants of the vehicle have similar hardware setups, but there are differences in the braking system. The base variant features 130mm drum brakes both at the front and rear. In contrast, the Disc and SmartXonnect variants are equipped with a 220mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear. Additionally, these two variants feature sync braking technology, which is not available on the base model.

TVS Jupiter 125: Features

All three variants come with features like LED headlamps, LED taillamps, and electric silent start. They also include 33 litres of under-seat storage, a 2-litre glove box at the front, a multi-function key switch lock, bag hooks, a side stand indicator and engine inhibitor, a pass switch, TVS IntelliGo, and silent start. However, there are distinct differences between them.

The base drum alloy variant offers a digi-analogue speedometer displaying ride information such as distance to empty, average and instant fuel efficiency, low fuel indicator, eco/power mode, and more. However, it lacks Bluetooth connectivity and a charging port.

The mid variant retains the LED lighting but adds DRLs, a USB port, and sync braking technology. It shares the same semi-digital cluster as the base model but features a more refined chrome finish.

The top SmartXonnect variant includes features from both the base and mid variants but also offers a fully digital cluster with the Suzuki Xonnect dedicated app. This app enables the rider to access call and social media alerts, GPS navigation, voice commands, weather updates, news, and live sports updates. Additionally, this variant comes with a backrest for added comfort.

Verdict

If youre deciding whether the base variant of the TVS Jupiter 125 will meet your needs, it might be enough for you. However, if youre interested in more connected features, the top variant could be a better choice. And if youre considering other options, its always a good idea to explore what else is available in the market.
