It was just a few days ago that the news of 2020 Datsun Redi-GO facelift broke out and now we have got our hands on its brochure. Yes, the leaked brochure of the 2020 Datsun Redi-Go facelift reveals all the features the upcoming entry-level hatchback will get.

For starters, the dashboard now gets a new design and also an updated multi-function steering wheel. It gets a large 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The circular AC vents are replaced by a rather neat looking rectangular design.
Moving forward, it also gets a reverse camera, internally adjustable wing mirrors, chrome finished inside door handles, improved upholstery design and two-tone instrument cluster. The centre console now sees silver bezel with a piano black finish.
Sharing the design changes on the exteriors then it gets several first-in-class features like the L-shaped DRL (Daytime Running Lights), LED fog lights and new front grille with chrome frame. The hatchback sits on 14-inch steel wheels with dual-tone wheel covers and is available in a total of six colour options. Out of these, Blue and Brown are new. The hatchback also gets roof rails to further improve the sporty appeal.
Safety features on the Redi-GO include driver and co-driver airbags, rear seat belt with attractive function, 3-point seat belt with pre-tensioner and load limiter. Other features include rear parking sensors, high-speed alert system, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution).

Both online and offline bookings for the Datsun Redi-GO facelift will commence from May 15 and the deliveries will start afterwards. The updated hatchback will get the same 0.8L and 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine. Both the engines get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while the optional AMT sticks with the 1.0L petrol only.
The hatchback will be sold in four trims - D, A, T and T(O) and the 1.0L T(O) will get the AMT option. All these trims compete with Alto Std, Alto LXi, Alto VXi, VXi+ and Maruti S-Presso VXi/VXi AMT trims. Other competition also includes Renault Kwid which is offered in both 0.8L and 1.0L engines. Once launched, the Redi-GO is expected to start from Rs 2.99 lakh and will go upwards till Rs 4.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
