The new Hyundai Tucson is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This NA petrol motor churns out 152 PS of power at 6200 RPM and 192 Nm at 4000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox only. The Jeep Compass, on the other hand, gets a BS6-compliant 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that pumps out 163 PS of power at 3750 RPM and 250 Nm between 1750-2500 RPM. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and also a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

Talking about the diesel engines, so both these SUVs get a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre oil-burner. The Tucson's 2.0-litre diesel motor churns out 185 PS of power at 4000 RPM and 400 Nm of peak torque between 1750-2750 RPM. It comes mated to a 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox only. The Compass' 2.0-litre multi-jet diesel engine develops 170 PS of power at 3750 RPM and 350 Nm of peak torque between 1750-2500 RPM. This engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The top-spec Diesel trim of the Tucson also gets a 4WD system while selected Diesel variants of the Compass gets 4X4 system. The Compass also has a very capable off-road variant called Trailhawk.

Some other features include a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charging pad, 8-speaker Infinity Premium Sound System, cruise control and many more.
