The mid-size SUV segment is booming and Jeep Compass was the first in the market to take over this segment. However, with the new competition coming in, the sales started to diminish for the Compass. Well, that was in the past as Jeep is working on the 2020 Compass facelift and here we have its rendered images of how it could look like!

Sharing more information on the rendered images of Compass facelift then this 2020 Jeep model gets minor changes on the exteriors. At the front, the headlights get a tad bit of design change and are now longer than before. Similarly, the fog lights positioning is different and you notice rectangular chrome bits covering it.
The front bumper is slightly bigger and the lower part of grille is taller than before. Following the headlight structure, the taillights too will see a sleek design and gets LED treatment. Inside, it will largely remain the same except for the new touchscreen infotainment unit Uconnect 5 series. It will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features.
Like the customised changes, things will be different under the hood too. The 1.4-litre multi air turbo four-cylinder petrol motor will be replaced by a 1.3-litre FireFly four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. Currently, it is the former which is available in Indian markets and it churns out 160 bhp with 250 Nm of torque.

We can expect this facelifted model to be launched by early 2021 and once launched, it will compete with the likes of Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Mahindra XUV500. The prices for the same are expected to start from Rs 16 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
