The year 2020 will be very busy for Tata Motors and why not. They will launch their first ever premium hatchback the Altroz, the EV version of the Nexon and the seven seater Gravitas. Further, we will also get to see the three major facelifts. These are the 2020 Tata Tigo, Tigor and Nexon updates. Pictures of these refreshed models are now out in the open
2020 Tata Tiago
Tata's most affordable offering (the Nano is no more on sale, remember?) has been doing good numbers and will get a fresh lease of life. The hatchback will get a new grille, tweaked headlamps and a set of new bumpers. The boot hatch on the car will now incorporate a camera for the higher models. In the picture we got, the new Tiago also seems to be sitting lower the current model - will Tata lower the springs?
On the inside, the 2020 Tata Tiago will receive updates too. For starters, the digital console looks nice and this was silently introduced a while back. The updated model will get a flat bottom steering wheel and body coloured surrounds around the side vents. We expect Tata to add in a few extra features and up the quality levels too. The engines on the Tiago will be updated to meet the upcoming BS-6 emissions - the diesel one might not make it owning to low demand and high costs involved for the upgrade.
2020 Tata Tigor
The new Tigor will get a host of updates to keep it fresh. Like its hatch sibling, this one too will get tweaked lamps, a new grille, revised bumpers and front DRLs (day time running lights). Like the Tiago, there will be new colour options on the table too.
The cabin of the Tigor will get minor changes for 2020. This will include a flat bottom steering and an updated feature list. We believe while the Tiago will have a darker theme on the inside, the Tigor will get lighter colours for an airy feel. Engines will also be updated to meet the BS6 norms - the diesel one might not make it owning to low demand and high costs involved for the upgrade.
2020 Tata Nexon
Exterior images of the new Nexon have been floating around the Internet for a while now. However, its the first time we are seeing the interiors of the updated model. The major change is in the colour theme and the flat bottom steering. Expect higher levels of equipment and quality of materials used.
The exteriors of the 2020 Tata Nexon will get tweaks too. These include new a LED pattern for the tail lamps, revised fog lamp housing, new look for the alloy wheels, a new grille and so on. These changes will keep the brand name fresh in the competitive compact SUV market. Engines too will be updated to meet the BS6 norms.
