Benelli Imperiale 400 is the best-selling Benelli motorcycle in the Indian market. The Imperiale 400 was launched in India for the first time in 2019. PROS
Engine Performance - The new Benelli Imperiale 400 gets a BS6 compliant 374cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 21 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 29 Nm of peak torque at 3500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Imperiale 400 offers better performance than its arch-rival, the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
Styling and Colour Options - The Imperiale 400 is a retro motorcycle and it looks really good. The motorcycle gets subtle chrome inserts and blacked-out accents which make it look enchanting. Also, it is available with three different colour options. They are Silver, Red and Black colour.
Ergonomics - The Benelli Imperiale 400 is a very sorted motorcycle. It has relaxed ergonomics and one can comfortably sit on the saddle without any fatigue. It is a relaxed motorcycle and retro lovers will surely appreciate that.
Hardware - The Imperiale 400 gets telescopic forks at the front and dual spring-loaded hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. For braking duties, it gets disc brakes at either end along with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Instrument Cluster - The instrument cluster of the Benelli Imperiale 400 is one of the best, if not the best, in the segment. It gets a semi-analogue semi-digital cluster. There are analogue dials with a MID or a multi-information display in between that displays a host of information.
Price - The price was once a negative point of the Imperiale 400 BS6 but now since its price has been reduced, it's a positive of the motorcycle.

CONS
No LEDs - The Benelli Imperiale 400 doesn't get LED lights at all. Benelli should have offered atleast LED DRLs and LED taillamp.
Weight - The Benelli Imperiale 400 is a heavy motorcycle. At 205 kgs, it is quite heavy and its weight can be felt while riding at slow speeds in traffic.
Tubed Tyres - The front tyre of the Imperiale 400 measures 100/90-19 while the rear one is a 130/80 section 18-inch unit and since it gets spoke wheels, they are tubed tyres.
Service Network - The sales and service network of Benelli is quite limited. However, the company is gradually expanding its footprint across the country.
