Honda Two-wheelers India is launching back to back new motorcycles in the Indian market. In the past eight months, the company even launched some premium motorcycles that are exclusively sold via BigWing outlets. And now, Honda is planning to launch one more affordable premium bike in the country. The India launch of the new 2021 Honda CB 300R BS6 will take place soon and in this article, we have shared with you all the details about it.
The Honda CB 300R was first launched in India in February 2019 at a price of Rs. 2.41 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. This Neo Sports Cafe motorcycle was brought to India via the CKD route and it became an instant hit. However, the motorcycle was discontinued in 2020 as it wasn't BS6 compliant. Now, Honda is planning to soon launch the CB 300R BS6 in India. The new Honda CB 300R BS6 will bridge the gap between the Honda H'ness CB 350/CB 350 RS and the CB 500X in India in terms of pricing and market positioning.

Now, if we talk about the engine specs of the upcoming Honda CB 300R, so in the BS4 era, it was powered by a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, engine that used to churn out 31.4 PS of power and 27.5 Nm of peak torque. The new CB 300R will get the same mill but will be BS6 compliant and get fuel injection too. We expect the power and torque figures to remain almost the same as before and the engine will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will get an all-digital instrument cluster too that will show a ton of details.
