The Hi-Lander is the new entrant to the D-Max family priced at Rs 16.98 lakh while the V-Cross price ranges from Rs 19.98 lakh to Rs 24.49 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu.
Most of the accessories are shared between both these vehicles. Common ones include bed line over rail, D-Box with spoiler, hard lid, sports bar, front bumper guard, carpet floor mats, canopy with room lamp (V-Cross) and canopy without a room lamp (Hi-Lander).
The Hi-Lander continues with cargo net, seat covers, cargo bike carrier, rear combi lamp guard, door visor, illuminate rocker plate crew and cargo rails crew. The V-Cross comes with an engine hood protector, headlamp garnish, tailgate ornament and cargo divider.
All of these accessories are available at the dealer level and there is not a set package as of now. You can get whatever you want and note that, if you buy several accessories then the dealer might give you an additional discount also. Also, if you have an older V-Cross then also you can buy these accessories at the dealer level.
The Isuzu Hi-Lander is the new entrant to the D-Max family that is available to private buyers. It is a premium version of the S-Cab but now gets steel wheels with caps, black ORVMs on the sides and the inside continues with an all-black theme. The fabric upholstery is fine and you do get a manual air conditioning system with a four-speaker music system. The good thing is the new digital multi-information display between those analogue dials and all four power windows option.
Coming to the Isuzu V-Cross then not much has changed other than the addition of new colour schemes, increased prices and a BS6 compliant diesel engine. Both the trucks are powered by a 1.9-litre turbocharged diesel unit generating 161 bhp with 360 Nm of peak torque.
The price of Hi-Lander sticks with Rs 16.98 lakh and comes with a 4x2 set-up whereas the V-Cross fetches from Rs 19.98 lakh to Rs 24.49 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu. The V-Cross is offered in two variants - Z and Z Prestige.
