Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line
2025 is going to be a massive year for Volkswagen, as they are gearing up to launch 4 new cars, with the Tiguan R-Line being the first one. This is not a regular SUV, but an R-Line product, which is the sports model badge reserved only for high-performance-oriented cars. The new video circulating on the web showcases two models of this, unloading from the truck, and this clip was recorded from the financial capital of India, Mumbai, where its launch event will take place on 14th April.

The Tiguan R-Line will be powered by a 2.0L turbocharged (TSI EVO) 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing 204 ps and 340 Nm of torque, sending power to all four wheels via a 7-speed DSG, and this system is called 4-Motion. To add more, it will also feature a drive mode selector, which the brand is calling DCC Pro. Additionally, it will feature 9 airbags, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a 12.9-inch infotainment screen. So, it's feature-loaded and totally focused on providing high-end performance to its owners.

The cars spotted here show their rear profile, where the LED tail-lights with a special signal pattern are perfectly visible, giving it a modern and sporty touch. Also, the rear bumper has a honeycomb grille pattern and a chrome strip that covers the whole bottom area, adding a touch of sophistication, denoting that it is an expensive vehicle. Lastly, the bumper features a deflector, which is an important safety feature. The Tiguan R-Line also comes with a rear wiper, and other than this, nothing else is seen here.

Verdict
Volkswagen is ready to fulfill several dreams of boys this year by launching two strictly performance-oriented cars in India. The Golf GTI will not be available for everyone, as only 250 units are coming here, but the Tiguan R-Line is aiming for the stars and will try to break the ICE. Lastly, there are 2 more products coming from VW, one is an ICE and the other is an EV. So, it's a massive year for this German brand.
