2021 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Now In Pictures - Gone A Little Too Expensive?

The year 2021 is on a roll and not in a good way. While we saw amazing launches from several carmakers, the rising number of COVID cases has now caged people again in their houses. And amidst that, Isuzu has updated their entire BS6 range which was again a much-awaited one. Here, we have the 2021 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in pictures and we explain it to you!

First things first, the 2021 V-Cross looks identical to the previous one and the only change here is the all-new BS6 compliant diesel engine. But wait, Isuzu has now brought in new colour options too: Nautical Blue, Red Spinal Mica and Galena Grey. The other colour options like Sapphire Blue Mica, Silky Pearl White, Silver Metallic, Black Mica and White Solid exists too.

The front grille, headlight surround and the fog light area is surrounded by a thick chrome finish. The chrome then continues onto the ORVMs and the exterior door handles. The 18-inch alloy wheels look amazing and there are side steps that improve the overall aesthetics.

The bi-projector headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, its tall-boy stance and if you go ahead with the sports bar at the rear, the V-Cross just completes its looks overall.

The V-Cross is sold in two variants - Z and Z Prestige. The cabin experience and the features on the inside of the Z Prestige are better. The dual-tone black and dark brown combination, a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and Aux-in compatibility, steering mounted controls, cruise control, automatic climate control are some of the features the new V-Cross carries.

The BS6 version of the V-Cross gets an updated 1.9L Diesel engine. This unit generates 161 bhp with 360 Nm of peak torque. The 2.5L offered in the BS4 is no more to be found and this BS6 version of the 1.9L has grown in power and torque figures.

The Z variant is offered in a 6-speed automatic priced at Rs 19.98 lakh offering a 4x2 setup while the 6-speed manual with a 4x4 case gets a price of Rs 20.98 lakh. The top-spec Z Prestige only comes with a 6-speed torque converter and with a 4x4 transfer car. It is priced at Rs 24.49 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
