Talking about colour options, the FZ-X is available in three colours - Matt Copper, Matt Black and Metallic Blue shade. The Hero Xpulse 200T is also available in three colours - Matte Shield Gold, Panther Black and Sports Red.

The new Yamaha FZ-X is powered by a BS6 compliant 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 12.4 PS of maximum power at 7250 RPM and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Hero Xpulse 200T, on the other hand, is powered by a BS6 compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine with Hero's XSens programmed fuel-injection technology. This motor churns out 18.1 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 16.15 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The suspension duties on both these new retro-styled motorcycles are performed by telescopic forks at the front and they get a mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking duties too, these motorcycles get disc brakes at either end with a single-channel ABS. Now, if we talk about features, so the new FZ-X, as well as the Xpulse 200T, gets an all-digital instrument cluster that comes loaded with a ton of information. The digital clusters of these bikes also support smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth.

Finally, talking about the price, so the new Yamaha FZ-X has been launched in India in two variants. The base variant doesn't get connectivity features and has been priced at Rs 1.17 lakhs while the top variant with Yamaha's new Motorcycle Connect feature has been priced at Rs 1.20 lakhs. The 2021 Hero Xpulse 200T BS6 is available in a single fully-loaded variant and it is currently priced at Rs 1.15 lakhs. All the prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
