The new 2022 Bajaj Dominar 250 has been refreshed with new matt-black alloys with an attractive colour scheme. Details below.
We recently covered the story of Bajaj updating their Pulsar 250 and the Pulsar NS 160 naked motorcycle which you can read here. Adding to this spree of refreshment in their stable, the 2022 Bajaj Dominar 250 too has now also been updated with a new paint scheme for alloy wheels making it more contrasting with the offered specs.
This quarter-litre entry-level performance motorcycle from Bajaj now gets a matt-black finish with rim sidewall stickering which matches the red and white paint shade of the body panels.
These 17-inch wheels were previously covered with a silver shade which has now turned into a matt-black shade. This shade for alloy wheels is preferred more by the potential buyers and hence the update has brought the new paint scheme.
Other than this, everything else on the motorcycle remains the same. This means that the Dominar 250 continues using the design and features such as the LED headlight assembly same as that of Dominar 400, USD forks suspension with 37mm of travel at the front end, multiple way adjustable single mono-shock suspension at the rear, disc brakes at front & rear with dual-channel ABS, digital speedometer, and a single wide seat with a large fuel tank.
The updated motorcycle is now being offered in 3 different pain shades along the blacked-out rims, i.e. - Sparkling Black with Matte-Silver, Racing Red with Matte-Silver, and Citrus Red with Matte-Silver.
The updated Bajaj Dominar 250 will continue using the same 250cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine which produces a maximum power of 26.6 bhp and a peak torque of 23.5 Nm. It features a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch for seamless power delivery.
The 2022 new Bajaj Dominar 250 currently retails at Rs 1.67 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and rivals the likes of Yamaha FZS 25, Suzuki GIxxer 250 sports motorcycles.
