The Honda CB300R BS6 is all set to be launched in the Indian market on December 4 at the upcoming 2021 India Bike Week. the bike was discontinued earlier as the brand did not upgrade it to meet the latest BS6 emissions. The brand is however ready with the BS6 compliant version of the CB300R in the country and will feature an updated package while we do expect the bike to retain a similar design and features. Here are all the details about the 2022 Honda CB300R BS6 that you should check out. For starters, the Honda CB300R will feature a similar neo-retro styling and will boast a large round headlamp with a silver bezel and a well-sculpted fuel tank. Apart from that, other noticeable design highlights happen to be radiator cowls, full-HED lighting setup, and stylish alloy wheels. The bike is also expected to feature an LCD instrument cluster, a flat handlebar, dual-channel ABS, dual disc brakes, radial tyres, and comfortable seats.

The CB300R is expected to get a revised BS6 compliant engine. The BS4 iteration of the bike used to feature a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that used to churn out 30 bhp and a peak torque output of 27.4 Nm. The power output figures from the BS6 compliant motor are yet to be confirmed by the brand. However, the new version of the bike is expected to feature the same six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

The CB300R BS4 was priced from a starting price of INR 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and was brought into the country via the CKD (completely knocked down) route. The brand is however expected to offer a more affordable price tag with the BS6 version of the bike as the bike will now be locally manufactured. More details however can only be shared once the brand releases an official confirmation.
