Honda CB300R Issue
The right crankcase cover is where the problem is located, which may have occurred during manufacturing. Owing to the problem, the sealing plug may come loose as the engine heats up since there is less retention force. The sealing plug may detach by itself, causing engine oil to splash or spill. The worst-case situation, according to Honda, is that heated motorcycle working parts exposed to oil splashing could ignite a fire, result in a slip, slide, or accident, or even hurt the rider.
Regardless of whether your bike is covered by warranty or not, Honda is providing a free inspection and replacement of defective parts. The MY22 CB300R customers will receive a call or email from the Honda dealership. Also, the manufacturer has advised customers to contact the closest dealerships to have their motorcycles inspected. Customers can also visit the Honda BigWing website to determine whether or not their vehicle is subject to a recall. The owner can check whether they need to replace the faulty parts by entering the VIN number.
