2022 Maruti Suzuki Eeco With Improved Engine Launched At Rs 5.10 Lakh

The Eeco, another vehicle from Maruti Suzuki's portfolio, has received updates. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Eeco is equipped with the updated 1.2L Advanced K-Series Dual Jet and Dual VVT engine, as well as enhanced interiors and increased safety features. With a starting price of Rs. 5.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the New Eeco will be offered in 13 varieties, including 5-seater, 7-seater, Cargo, Tour, and Ambulance+. Recently the brand has launched the Alto K10 CNG.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Eeco Price & Variants

The new Eeco is introduced by Maruti Suzuki in a total of 13 variations and various configurations. The Eeco's price range begins at Rs. 5.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and up to Rs. 8.13 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated Eeco is available in five colours: Solid White, Metallic Silky Silver, Pearl Midnight Black, Metallic Glistening Grey, and a brand-new Metallic Brisk Blue.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Eeco Engine

The 1.2L Advanced K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine of the Maruti Suzuki New Eeco, which is more potent and fuel-efficient, is the most important improvement. The new engine produces 10 percent more power, or 80 bhp, and 104.4 Nm of torque (for petrol variants). The CNG versions provide 70.6 bhp of power and 95 Nm of maximum torque. While the S-CNG version of the New Eeco boasts a 29% higher fuel-efficiency and offers up to 27.05 km/kg, the petrol version of the vehicle is 25% more fuel-efficient and gives fuel-efficiency of up to 20.20 km/l.

The interior design of the new Eeco has been improved to provide a more enjoyable driving experience. It has controls that are designed with the driver in mind, reclining front seats, a cabin air filter (in AC variants), a dome lamp with a new battery-saving feature, etc. It also receives a new steering wheel, rotary controls for the heater and air conditioner, and a new digital instrument cluster.

The New Eeco comes loaded with 11+ safety features such as an engine immobiliser, illuminated hazard switch, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, child lock for the sliding doors and windows, reverse parking sensors, etc. amongst other standard safety features to ensure a safe drive.

Verdict: Since its debut in India, Maruti Suzuki has sold more than 9,75,000 lakh Eeco.  Customers will benefit from improved comfort in the cabin and better mileage due to the new Eeco generation.
