2022 Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 cruiser has been spied testing yet again in India. The pack of two test bikes was seen fitted with an official accessory pack.
As the debut of the upcoming Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 comes closer, the frequency of test bike spotting has increased. In the latest set of photos, the upcoming 650cc bike was seen stranded in traffic in a production-ready avatar. It was not just one but two test bikes that were spotted while using the official accessory pack.
The upcoming Shotgun 650 is destined to debut globally by the end of this year. The finalized product has started to be seen regularly on test runs across the world. The latest spotting took place in peak Chennai traffic where a pack of two bikes was spotted. Both of these bikes were uncamouflaged & also fitted with some official accessories.

2022 Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Details
Looking at the images gives us a faint idea that Shotgun will be a low-slung cruiser bike. The comfortable riding posture will be the highlight of it as the test bikes also featured a slipt seat setup. Along with it, the semi-digital twin-pod instrument cluster from Meteor 350 was seen on both bikes.
Other details to notice are the alloy wheels that the Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 owners have been eagerly waiting for. Shotgun will also be coming with optional accessories like the auxiliary lights, engine crash guard, etc., as seen on both bikes here.
It will be using the same 650cc engine from the twins that make 47 hp and 52 Nm of power and torque. A standard 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch is also expected to come along. At the front, Shotgun will be using a USD set up for comfortable and sturdy ride quality. We also suspect that Royal Enfield will provide optional tripper navigation for the Shotgun upon its launch.
The expected global debut is around the end of 2022, but, it won't be anytime before 2023 that we see the Shotgun rolling on Indian roads. The expected price range will remain above Rs 3 lakh, once launched.
