Skoda is all set to launch their upcoming mid-size sedan, Slavia, on February 28 and March 3. Several spy shots of the Skoda Slavia has been spotted but this is the first time that the base model, Active, has been spotted at a dealership and this video gives a glimpse of what all features this variant packs.
At the front, the Active variant gets a signature butterfly grille with chrome surround and receives halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights. This variant is devoid of fog lights. Moving to the sides then you get 15-inch steel wheels with 195/65 dimensions. The base variant does get silver wheel caps while the higher variants get alloy wheels. Skoda has provided electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators but the retractable function is again available with higher trims.

Inside the cabin, you do get a touchscreen infotainment system with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This one is a 7.0-inch unit while the higher variants get a bigger touchscreen infotainment unit. Other features include a two-spoke steering wheel with multi-function controls, dual-tone theme in the cabin, adjustable headrests, remote central locking, manual AC, LED cabin lights, all adjustable headrests and others.
Safety features on the base model Active of the 2022 Skoda Slavia include tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, traction control, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, front seat belt reminder, high-speed alert system, dual airbags, multi-collision braking and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Mechanically, the base Active model is equipped with a smaller 1.0L TSI motor engine. This three-cylinder, turbocharged BS6 compliant engine produces 114 bhp of power with a peak torque of 178 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and an optional 6-speed AT. However, the base Active variant only gets a stick shift.
