Tata Motors will soon launch the long range 2022 Nexon EV in a few days and the bookings for the same have started. However, this is not official from the carmaker and only select dealerships are accepting the bookings for the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona rival.

The updated 2022 Nexon EV will be powered by a bigger battery pack compared to the 30.2 kWh that is seen on the current model. Similarly, expect a bump in power and torque figures from 127 bhp and 245 Nm respectively. The ARAI certified range of the Nexon EV sticks to 312 km but with the bigger battery pack, we do believe that it will offer close to 400 km.
Feature-wise, it will retain most of the features like an electric sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse parking camera, dual-tone upholstery, push button start/stop, automatic climate control and others.
On the safety front, we do expect all-wheel disc brakes and electronic stability control will be made standard across all the variants. Rest safety equipment like ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, hill hold control, high-speed alert system and more will continue like before.
