Audi India has introduced the Audi Q8 e-tron in the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs. 1.14 crore (ex-showroom). This electric vehicle is available in both SUV and Sportback configurations, offering two choices of battery packs. Audi Q8 e-tron Warranty And RSA Details

Audi is offering a generous warranty package for the battery unit of the electric SUVs, providing coverage for eight years or 1,60,000 kilometers. Customers also receive a five-year extended warranty, which can be extended up to seven years. The Audi Q8 e-tron comes with two battery pack choices: a 95 kWh and a 114 kWh option. The brand promises a 10-year Road Side Assistance plan, which is the best in the segment. On top of this, Audi is also providing service packages for up to 7 years.

Charging Offers

Audi is offering a complimentary charging service to all Audi e-tron owners until the end of the current year. Presently, customers can utilize more than 1,000 charging stations throughout the country through the 'myAudi connect' mobile app. In terms of charging speed, the e-tron's battery pack can be replenished from 10 to 80 percent in a mere 31 minutes using the 170kW DC fast charger.

Powertrain And Range

The Audi Q8 e-tron is available with a choice of two battery packs: a 95kWh and a 114kWh variant. The 95kWh pack delivers 340bhp and 664Nm of torque, while the 114kWh version produces 408bhp and the same torque figure. With the use of a 170kW DC fast charger, the batteries can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 31 minutes. Audi claims a range of up to 600km for this model.

Features

The interior remains largely unaltered, featuring the familiar dual touchscreen setup on the center console  a 10.1-inch display for infotainment functions and an 8.6-inch screen for HVAC controls. The vehicle also boasts a fully digital instrument cluster with Audi's Virtual Cockpit Plus, along with amenities such as a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, and a new addition: a 360-degree camera. Notably, wireless Apple CarPlay is still absent from the list of features, which should have been included in present times.
