2023 Harley-Davidson X350 - Details
Uploaded via a YouTube channel, the new X350 is seen barebone in the video. Speaking of the design, it looks similar to the earlier leaked photos. It looks compact but butch at the same time. The overall design refers to that of a comfortable yet sporty roadster. The tubular handlebar, single-pod semi-digital instrument panel, & round LED headlight make it look proper Harley. However, the sculpted fuel tank and the low-slung seat with extended taillight panels make it look modern. It is an overall modern roadster with hints of Harley's cruiser DNA.
Meanwhile, the features list is also decent. It gets USD front forks, dual disc brakes at the front, alloy wheels, LED lights, & an offset monoshock at the rear. Additionally, the fuel tank size looks big which might translate into long-distance range. Now, speaking of the engine; there are no details currently. But, we suspect it is a 353cc parallel-twin engine. It is because the X350 has been co-developed with QJ Motors. QJ has a DNA for 350 with its brands like Benelli & Keeway. Hence, a lot of part sharing will be visible on the X350 from QJ. This engine might make a peak power output in the range of 35-40 bhp.
Verdict
QJ Motors & Harley have strong presence in India for quite some time now. Hence, the possibility of the X350 launching in India soon is high. Additionally, the Indian market is a big sucker for middle-weight 250-500cc bikes. Hence, the X350 has the potential to turn into a mass-market product for both manufacturers. It is going to rival the BMW G 310 R & KTM Duke 390 in India; once launched. However, we anticipate that it'll be premium priced in the likes of somewhere Rs 3.5-4 lakh.
