2023 Honda Dio 125 cc - What To Expect From This New Launch?
While it retains the same appearance as the Dio 110cc, there are new colour options and a few upgraded details. The scooter is available in seven colours: Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Night Star Black, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Mat Sangria Red Metallic, and Sports Red. The Dio 125 is offered in two variants: Standard priced at Rs 83,400 and Smart priced at Rs 91,300.
The Dio 125 boasts several features, including an idling stop system, a side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, a multi-function switch for unlocking the seat and opening the external fuel lid, telescopic suspension with a high 171mm ground clearance, as stated in a statement by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). "In its all-new 125cc avatar, the Honda Dio 125 has been specially designed and developed to fulfil the aspirations of young Indian customers," said Tsutsumu Otani, the Managing Director, President & CEO of HMSI.
According to online sources, the Dio 125 incorporates Honda's H-Smart tech, featuring a smart key with four functions: Smart find, smart unlock, smart safe, and smart start. It also includes a new fully digital instrument console that displays speed, and real-time data for fuel efficiency and range, along with tell-tale lights, a trip meter, and a clock. In terms of safety, the scooter is equipped with Honda's Combi-braking system (CBS) and an idle start-stop system. Overall, this newly launched sporty 125cc scooter segment is prepared to provide stiff competition to its rivals such as Grazia, Activa 125, 125 Street, and TVS NTorq 125. The launch of this new 125cc segment has undoubtedly grabbed the attention of customers.
