- The Grand i10 Nios facelift will mostly have cosmetic changes on the outside and inside
- It will be powered by a 1.2L petrol and a factory-fitted CNG option
- Expect a certain hike in prices once the new model is launched
Hyundai is all set to introduce several cars in 2023 and one of them is the Grand i10 Nios facelift. The same has been spotted recently testing on Indian roads. In this article, we share everything we know about the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift.
From the test shots, the most evident change are the tweaked LED daytime running lights. Unlike the current model where they are placed in the grille, the updated model will have the DRLs towards the edges of the bumper. Also, we can expect a new bumper design as well.
Towards the side profile, a new design for alloy wheels can be seen. Rest, the silhouette of the car remains more or less the same. Move towards the rear and it is where you get a different design altogether. We can expect a tweaked taillight set-up and the higher versions can also have LED treatment. In addition to this, updated rear bumper design is also expected.

Mechanically, things will remain unchanged for the Grand i10 Nios. It will be offered with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor. This unit pumps out 82 bhp of power with a peak torque of 114 Nm. This engine is paired to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and an AMT as an option.
The ARAI-certified mileage of the 1.2L petrol sticks to 21 kmpl. There is also a factory-fitted CNG option with 1.2L petrol. However, there it belts out 68 bhp of power with 95 Nm of peak torque. This one gets mated to a 5-speed stick shift only.

Verdict
Hyundai Grand i10 is a great-selling hatchback from the South Korean carmaker. It was also available in diesel and 1.0L turbo petrol motors, however, they were discontinued due to poor sales. Once the facelifted model gets launched, it will rival Tata Tiago and Maruti Swift.
