Hyundai has finally launched the 2023 new-gen Verna in India. The next-gen sedan now comes with level-2 ADAS and several other first & best-in-segment features. Hyundai has launched the new-gen Verna with 2 engine options and 3 transmission options i.e. a 1.5 litre MPi petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or IVT/CVT automatic transmission, and a 1.5 litre turbo GDi petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. 2023 Hyundai Verna Variant Analysis: Base EX Variant

This variant of the new-gen Verna gets almost all the features of the SX(O) variant but misses out on a few. These are Hyundai SmartSense ADAS, Bose premium sound 8 speaker system, Front ventilated & heated seats, Power driver seat, & Rear windscreen manual curtain. However, the SX Turbo variant of the new Verna also offers some turbo-specific features. These are Metal pedals, R16 (D=405.6 mm) Black alloys, & Red front brake calipers.
2023 Hyundai Verna Variant Analysis: SX(O) Turbo Variant
The SX(O) Turbo variant of the 2023 new-gen Hyundai Verna comes with just a 1.5 litre Turbo GDi petrol engine. It is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT automatic. This variant of the new-gen Hyundai Verna not only gets all the features of the SX(O) and SX Turbo variants, but it also offers some more unique features. These are Electric parking brake, & Rear disc brakes. Also, this variant gets the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS with 2 more features that are missing in the ADAS suite of the SX(O) variant. These 2 ADAS features are Smart Cruise Control With Stop & Go and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert.
