Under the hood of the 2023 Verna, you'll find a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. The Verna is in direct competition with rivals such as the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
Verdict
While the price hike affects solely the entry-level variant and remains relatively modest, other variants remain unaffected for now. As the festive season approaches, it will be interesting to observe the fresh pricing strategies Hyundai unveils for its customers.
