Mercedes-Benz India is progressively expanding its lineup. With back-to-back launches of different models, now, it's time for the new GLE facelift & the AMG C 43 to debut. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE facelift & C 43 AMG will launch in India on 2 November. Both models will bring new tech, features, & increased performance for customers. Mercedes-Benz GLE Facelift - What's New?
GLE remains one of the best-selling premium SUVs in India. With rivals like BMW X7, Audi Q8, & Range Rover Velar updating, it's time for the facelift to debut. Hence, the new facelift will feature a revised exterior design. This shall include new LED headlights, revised bumper, new alloy wheels, & new LED taillights. On the inside, it'll get a new steering wheel carried from the S-class. Therefore, it'll now get touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel. Additionally, the infotainment system will be revised with a bigger screen. New features like the latest MBUX, new connected features, & Mercedes' Distronic Plus active cruise control system will also be offered.
Under the bonnet, we expect the GLE facelift to remain unchanged. With that said, it is globally offered with 300d, 400d, & 450 engine options. It'll be interesting to see which one of these options will be offered in India. It is also being reported online that the 400d shall be replaced by a more powerful 450d option. Meanwhile, all of these powertrains come with a 48V ISG motor which develops an additional 20bhp & 200Nm.
AMG C 43 - New Performance Sedan
Speaking of the second product, Mercedes will make the comeback of C 43 AMG. The new performance sedan will get a new revamped design, powertrain, & performance package. It now gets a tweaked chassis, a new front axle design, & better brakes. Meanwhile, the exteriors will include the Panamericana grille with vertical slats, new LED headlights, & a revised front fascia. Meanwhile, the powertrain will undergo a big revision. Unlike the old model, the new one will only get a 4-cylinder turbo-petrol. It'll be a 2.0-lt engine which shall make peak power of 402hp & 500Nm of peak torque.
All thanks to the 48V mild-hybrid system, the new C 43 will also get a 'Boost Function' which shall add 13hp of more power on demand. Additionally, Mercedes will also offer a 'Race Start' function which will use the 4MATIC to send the power to all wheels. Meanwhile, the 9-speed automatic gearbox will ensure a top-notch performance for the driver. On the interior front, it'll get a 12.3-inch digital instrument console with an 11.9-inch infotainment system. The latest MBUX tech with connected features will also be offered.

Mercedes-Benz has very strong plans for the Indian market. The brand remains top-selling luxury company in India.
