2023 MG Hector Exterior & Interior
The main exterior change of the facelift is the inclusion of a bigger, bolder front grille. The muscular U-shaped chrome-studded grille on the front fascia blends with the LED daytime running lights. In order to give the SUV a sportier look, it also includes a redesigned fog light housing and a faux skid plate. The side appearance of the SUV hasn't changed, however, the back profile has undergone some small adjustments. The modifications to the rear include a connected tail lamp and new Hector badging in the centre, similar to what we've seen on the Gloster.
The dashboard of the facelift has been changed and gets soft touch material. The interior has new air conditioning vent designs, a new engine start-stop button, and an upgraded instrument cluster. It also boasts piano black and faux brushed aluminium embellishments, which give it a premium appearance. The inside also has many colour choices for the upholstery as well as dual-tone treatment on the door pads, dashboard, and other crucial sections. The centre infotainment system now has a 14-inch touchscreen, the largest in India for its segment.
2023 MG Hector Features
The Hector has long been renowned for its spacious and feature-loaded interior, and the 2023 model adds even more features, making it one of the most feature-rich cars in its class. A 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system is included with the 2023 Hector. The screen features navigation, internet access, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and audio controls. The new horizontal screen also has air conditioning controls. Additionally, the Hector has turn indicators that light up automatically when you crank the steering to the left or right. The new screen also supports connected car features and voice commands. The Hector's large panoramic sunroof has adjustable opening options.
MG Hector Safety Features
A full suite of Level 2 ADAS technologies are included in the 2023 MG Hector to enhance the safety features provided by the vehicle. The Astor and Gloster SUVs from MG already have ADAS technology. Adaptive cruise control, bend cruise aid, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, traffic jam assist, and other capabilities are among the Hector's 11 ADAS features. The additional safety features of the SUV include all four disc brakes, ABS with EBD, up to six airbags, and other key safety measures.
