2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has been spotted for the first time testing on the public roads. The new powerful Himalayan will launch next year.

There have been a lot of rumors regarding the more powerful Himalayan under development since long time. Now, for the first time, the upcoming 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan has been spied testing on the roads in a more tech laden form with a more powerful engine.

Since its launch, the Himalayan adventure motorcycle from the cult bike maker Royal Enfield has been a hoot among enthusiasts pan India as well as globally. While the adventure-tourer motorcycle became an instant hit, the lack of outright highway power and a few specifications have been a downer for the potential buyers. Current owners have been repetitively looking for ways to upgrade the power from the 411cc single-cylinder engine.

Talking about the design, the camouflaged motorcycle was seen with a bigger stance than the current generation bike. The first attention-grabbing equipment is the longer-travel front forks which are now upside-down; meaning the structural strength of the new bike will be more while it would also be able to take more beating on the off-road sections with these new suspensions. The front end is now redesigned with a higher mounted front fender which is readily visible in the photos.

Apart from this, the new engine casing suggests the bigger engine under construction with a liquid-cooled motor. Although, the fins of the liquid-cooled motor are not visible in the photos. The fuel tank also suggests that it'll be de-terblanched helping the riders to use more potential on the off-road trail rides. There is also an all-LED headlight unit as the heat sink behind the light is visible. The new Himalayan also seems to be using a Meteor/Scram 411 sourced instrument MID pod; although its position seems non-fixed till now.

The overall design looks slimmer than the current bike and the split-seats are also new. The side panels have been designed with a more 3-D appeal which divulges the overall design of the bike quite nicely. There are no available details regarding the new engine but it is suggested that this engine will be more powerful than the outgoing engine and shall help resolve the outright highway power lag issue of the present-day Himalayan; as reported by users.

As for now, we have no official information regarding the launch of this new upcoming Himalayan but it is widely anticipated that this new product shall make it to the production by the first-quarter of the year 2023. Pricings shall remain subjected to further specification reveal.
