2023 Suzuki Hayabusa super sports tourer motorcycle is updated with three new colour options. The updated bike is expected to launch in India around August.
The Dhoom bike is once again in news worldwide. This time, the news is about an updated version of the current bike. Yes, the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa is revealed with updated cosmetics & boy does it look outrageous. Once known to be the fastest production motorcycle on the planet Earth; Hayabusa is a cult in itself. With the new updates, it has become even more desirable.
So, what are the updates? Well, largely everything remains the same except the colour options. Suzuki revised the colour options with updated contrasts & shades. It now comes with 3 different colour options. These include a complete blacked-out Metallic Matte Black shade which is complemented by Glass Sparkle Black. The second option is a Metallic Thunder Grey colour with Candy Daring Red accents on the front end, side panel, and rear seat cowl. Tertiary being Pearl Blue with Peral White combination.
Apart from the colours, everything else remains the same. Well, this complements the Japanese theory of 'Why change something if it is not broken?'. Meaning, that the Hayabusa continues using the ballistic engine under the fuel tank. The 1340cc, the inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine continues propelling the updated Hayabusa as well. This engine produces a peak power of 188 hp & 150 Nm of peak torque. Suzuki has mated the engine with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox that uses the slipper-assist clutch for seamless gear shifts.
The feature list on the new Hayabusa is also long enough to keep a memoir of. It comes with six-axis IMU, ride-by-wire throttle, cornering ABS, 5 riding modes, launch control, & even a cruise control system. The Japanese engineers did not just stop here. The updated Hayabusa also comes equipped with the traction control system, engine brake control, anti-lift control, as well a low RPM assist function, an active speed limiter, and hill/slope control.
And what about the India launch? Well, the 2023 updated bike will surely come to India but only around the upcoming festive seasons. This means; expect the updated bike to launch around August or September for the least. The pricings might fiddle a bit & the brochure might indicate a slight hike over the sticker price as well. Upon launch, it will compete with rivals like Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Honda CBR 1000RR-R, & Suzuki GSXR100R.
