2023 Tata Harrier & Safari Scores 5-Star GNCAP Crash Test Ratings!

2023 Tata Harrier & Safari models have been crash-tested. Both new models have undergone global NCAP testing and managed to score 5-star ratings. The new Harrier & Safari SUVs have also managed to get the highest score for child occupancy as well as adult occupancy. Read more details about the test below.

2023 Tata Harrier & Safari Crash Test Rating - Details

As we know, the global NCAP agency is very stringent towards the safety of passengers on the road. Hence, the GNCAP tests are also one of the strict tests around the globe. Tata has sent the Harrier & Safari facelift mules for safety testing. The results are now out and as expected both cars have scored a stupendous 5-star rating. In adult safety, both models received 33.05 points out of 34 points. Meanwhile, in child safety, both models scored 45 points out of 49. Not only this, but, both models were also tested for side impacts. The side collision report is also green for Tata cars here. Additionally, the body shell integrity has also been found intact after the crash.

Tata Safari

During tests, GNCAP placed an 18-month-old dummy & a 3-month-old dummy facing reverse. After the crash, it was found that the cars achieved 12 out of 12 points for the child restraint system. The max dynamic score achieved here was 24 out of 24. Meanwhile, the side impact reports claim that the Harrier & Safari have "good protection" for the head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis area of the dummies. Mind you, both of the new models have been launched in India. The Harrier facelift is priced between Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 24.49 lakh (introductory). However, the Safari is a little more costly than the Harrier, starting at Rs 16.19 lakh to Rs 25.49 lakh (introductory).
