Increased Driving Range
With the revised prices, Tata has also added more driving range to the Nexon EV range. The EV Max can now complete up to a certified MIDC range of 453 km. The earlier range was certified to be only 437 km. However, this increase does not look very enticing but it will help a lot of buyers. Additionally, the new driving range is very close to its competitor XUV400. Meanwhile, the present customers of the EV Max can also claim this update. Tata has promised to increase the driving range of the already-sold Nexon EV Max cars. This shall be done via a software update that will go live on February 15. Sadly, there is no such range increment for the EV Prime variants.
Verdict
Tata Nexon EV can easily be claimed as one of the most successful EVs in India. Not just that but it has also successfully started mass EV adaptation in cars. All thanks to its value-for-money tag and strong build quality. With the latest price revision, the Nexon EV range has become ever sweeter to own.
