2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Details
It's been a long time since Tata has been testing the new Nexon facelift on the roads. Finally, the facelift model has launched with some exciting updates. The design is the most interesting upgrade for now. While the dimensions of it are similar to the old model, it gets a Currv-inspired design. The exteriors get sharp design elements with futuristic body lines. At the front, the headlamps are not positioned into the bumper. Also, the LED DRLs are stretched to the fenders and a completely new front grille has taken over the design upfront.
The side profile is more or less the same. Although it gets a different roof slope design mostly it is similar to the outgoing model. However, look closely and you'll realize that it gets new ORVMs like Harrier & a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear end has been revised with a major design change. It now gets a new spoiler design with new LED taillights and a brake light LED bar on the boot lid connecting these lights. Meanwhile, the boot has also been revised with a sculpted design and so has the rear bumper which offers reflectors and reverse light embedded into it.
Under the hood, the new model will continue using the same powertrain options. The 1.2-lt turbo-petrol & the 1.5-lt turbo-diesel engine will continue to be offered unchanged. Also, the transmission choices will now expand with a 6-speed MT, a 6-speed AMT, and a new 7-speed DCT with paddle shifters; depending upon the variant chosen. The new Nexon will be sold in the following trim options: Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S), Pure+, Pure+ (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless (S), and Fearless+ (S) trims. The + denotes optional packages bundled with several features, while (S) refers to trims with a sunroof.
