After playing cat and mouse with the prying cameras for the past few months, the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift has been officially unveiled. With all-new exterior updates, there are substantial changes to both physical and intangible elements. One is the simplified name of the variant. Moving past the XM, XM+, and so on, it gets Punch-like names to make it much more emotionally appealing to the buyers. On top of this, a host of modern features have been introduced to take it up a notch than its rivals.

2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Gets 7 Variants: Check Variant-Wise Features List
Tata Motors has ditched the existing nomenclature that started with X XE, XM, XM+, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux and now turns to a Punch-like naming scheme. The + denotes optional packages bundled with several features, while (S) refers to trims with a sunroof. The variant-wise feature list is given in the section below. It is also worth noting that 6-Airbags come as standard across all variants with the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift.

2023 Tata Nexon Facelift: Engine Options
The Tata Nexon facelift maintains its powertrain options. It retains the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 120hp and 170Nm, now available with four transmission choices: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic with paddle shifters, depending on the variant. The 1.5-liter diesel engine, producing 115hp and 160Nm, remains paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT.
Verdict
After a lot of hype, the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift finally breaks cover. While it brings fresh aesthetics, it justifies the hype with radical changes on the inside. With loads of new features and a more techy cabin space, the rivals will surely feel the heat turning up a lot more than before.
