Volkswagen India has introduced the 2023 version of its flagship SUV, the Tiguan. The brand has enhanced the convenience, interior, and safety features of the 2023 Tiguan. 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan Updates
The interior of the SUV has been updated, and it now features a brand-new dual-tone Storm Grey design that radiates freshness. The Tiguan now offers wireless smartphone charging as a result of user demand, bringing users more convenience. A panoramic sunroof adds to the opulent atmosphere by complementing the high-end interiors. A seamless user experience is provided by the Tiguan's 20.32cm touchscreen infotainment system with gesture control and customisable 25.40cm digital cockpit.
The vehicle's front has eye-catching exteriors that are brought to life by a strong bumper and inserts with a piano black finish. The wide radiator enhances the frontal charm even more. The LED matrix headlights add to the overall appearance, and the black LED combo tail lamps at the back display opulent new light signatures. Notably, when braking, the LEDs in the taillight cluster change from being brake lights to taillights, creating a "click-clack" impression. This obvious transition successfully warns following vehicles, ensuring increased safety.

2023 VW Tiguan Safety Features
The Tiguan now incorporates various safety measures, including a rear seat belt reminder, alongside a range of innovative safety technologies and assistance systems. These include six airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), anti-slip regulation (ASR), electronic differential lock (EDL), engine drag torque control (EDTC), hill start assist, hill descent control, active tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), three rear headrests, three-point seat belts, ISOFIX anchors for child seats, and driver alert systems. These comprehensive active and passive safety features ensure the security of both occupants and pedestrians in and around the vehicle. Additionally, the Tiguan is equip with Park Assist, a Level 1 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
2023 VW Tiguan Engine Specifications
Volkswagen Tiguan features an all-wheel-drive system with 4MOTION and a 2.0L TSI engine mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. With a peak power output of 190PS, which is available from 4200 to 6000 rpm, and a peak torque of 320 Nm, which is usable from as low as 1500 rpm and consistently potent up to 4100 rpm, this combination produces outstanding power outputs. Additionally, the Tiguan now boasts a 13.54 kmpl (ARAI certified) increase in fuel efficiency, or 7% more.
