Bajaj Auto is updating the whole Pulsar lineup and the brand has already launched multiple models with updated features and colour options. Now, it seems like it's the turn for the Pulsar 125 to get the update. An updated model of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 has been spotted with a new instrument console and switchgear. 2024 Bajaj Pulsar 125 - Now Gets Digital Cluster
Bajaj has recently updated the instrument consoles of the Pulsar N150 & N150 as well. A similar instrument cluster will now perform the duties in Pulsar 125. The recently spotted model was fitted with a digital instrument console and a new mode switch in the left switchgear console. The new model is expected to boast Bluetooth connectivity which will help the rider see call and message notifications on the cluster.
Also, the new mode switch shows that the motorcycle might get ABS modes. The updated model has already started reaching dealerships and is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.
On the hardware front and design front the motorcycle gets a similar design language with a muscular fuel tank, halogen headlamp, split seats, split pillion grab rail, LED tail lamp, and halogen turn indicator among other things. For the hardware, the bike continues to get 17-inch tyres, 240mm front disc brake, 130mm rear drum brake, telescopic front forks, and twin gas shock absorbers at the back. The motorcycle is also available in a single-seat variant. Currently, the brand offers two colour options for the Pulsar 125 namely Carbon Fibre & Neon.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Engine Specifications
Currently, the Pulsar 125 comes with a 124.4cc engine which produces 11.8 PS of power and 10.8 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. The brand will not make any changes to the engine specifications of the motorcycle.
Verdict
The brand is on a spree to modernise its lineup with new features, the addition of the digital instrument cluster will be a big welcome from the customers. Bajaj Pulsar is considered as one of the most popular motorcycle in the Indian market and with updates it will attract more customers towards it. With the addition of new updates we can expect a minor jump in the pricing of the motorcycle. The Pulsar 125 competes with Hero Glamour 125, Honda SP 125, and TVS Raider.
