2024 Bajaj Pulsar 150: What's New?
As visible in the photos, the updated bike now has a new graphic design all over the body. The black base paint with red vinyl looks striking and gives it a fresh appeal. Apart from that, there are no other changes to the bike. It still has the same old iconic design carried from a decade over. The pilot lamps and the big headlight make it look distinctive on the road. Its design has been a primary selling point among the new customers.
The second and most important update is the addition of an all-new fully digital instrument console. It is the same unit that we saw on the newly launched Pulsar N250. The negative LCD has different info like fuel economy, trip meters, and more. Additionally, it has Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts.
Engine-wise, we suspect there will be no change. Bajaj will continue offering its tried and tested 149.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This unit makes 13.8 bhp of peak power and 13.2 Nm of peak torque. Bajaj offers a 5-speed transmission along with this BS6-compliant engine.
Currently, there is no official announcement by Bajaj about the updated model. But, we suspect that its prices will be out in the coming weeks. The current bike is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). With the new screen and Bluetooth, the pricing will surely take a hike. Its main rivals are the Yamaha FZ FI V3 and the Suzuki Gixxer 150.
