2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250: What To Expect?
The new model of the Pulsar N250 is expected to bring some crucial updates to the bike. While its design will likely remain unchanged, the new model will get a wider rear tyre for better handling. It'll also get updated hardware that will include new petal disc brakes and dual-channel ABS as standard across all the variants. Bajaj can also equip the bike with a traction control system. Also, the dual-channel ABS will get three modes to switch off the rear ABS.
In terms of hardware, the front suspension will get USD forks while the rear suspension will remain an adjustable monoshock suspension. Another major upgrade will be the addition of a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. Features like turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alert, etc. will be offered as well. The switchgear is also likely to be updated for better ergonomics and a premium feel.
All of these updates are likely to make the new N250 more worthy. Meanwhile, the engine is expected to remain unchanged. The current model uses a BS6 phase-2 compliant 250cc, oil-cooled engine. This powertrain makes a peak power of 24.1bhp and a peak torque of 21.5 Nm. A 5-speed transmission will be mated to this powerplant.
Bajaj will hike the prices of the new Pulsar N250 because of the added features. The current model is priced at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect that the new model can get a price hike of up to Rs 10,000. The current rival of the Pulsar N250 is the Suzuki Gixxer.
