2024 Jawa Perak Launched With Engine Enhancements For Better Performance

Jawa recently launched the 2024 Perak with a new colour a few weeks back. Now, the brand has launched the updated model of the Perak with some internal enhancements to improve the engine performance and to make the motorcycle more refined. 2024 Jawa Perak - Now With Enhanced Performance

Jawa Perak comes with a 334cc liquid-cooled engine, this engine was not much refined previously and known for its harsh nature and vibrations. To address this issue, the brand has now made some significant enhancements to the internal components of the engine. The 2024 model now comes with improvements which include the implementation of micro geometry modifications to the gear tooth. This adjustment has resulted in better meshing quality and helped in reducing the noise, vibrations, and harshness (NVH) levels of the bike.

The brand has also added new gearbox covers which gives refined sound emission from the gearbox. The crankshaft is also updated to offer reduced engine stress levels which will enhance the overall riding experience. The 6-speed gearbox in the motorcycle comes with an Assist and Slipper clutch for smooth shifts. Moreover, the Perak now comes with improved gear ratios and throttle mapping for improved highway and city riding experience.

The Perak now gets a new larger throttle body with a diameter of 38mm and a new patented breather canopy to reduce oil consumption and emission. The brand has also updated the piston skirt profile and added a new cast iron liner in the cylinder block which further enhances the NVH level and reduces friction. Recently, the Perak has received an updated suspension setup which has increased its agility to offer a more comfortable ride. Moreover, the brand has also enhanced the ergonomics of the motorcycle.

If we talk about features and components, the Jawa Perak comes with a single-seat setup, telescopic front forks, a rear mono shock absorber with a 7-step preload adjustment, 18-inch front tyre, 17-inch rear tyre, front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS among other components. It gets an analog instrument cluster with a small MID.
