MG Gloster Facelift: New Design, More Features, and Same Engine
The Gloster happens to be the flagship model for MG in India. The full-size SUV has been struggling for sales against the rival Toyota Fortuner for a long. However, MG aims to change it with its updated Gloster facelift that is scheduled to debut in the coming months. The latest spy photos reveal that it'll get a redesigned front bumper, new LED headlights, and a new grille at the front.
The side profile will remain unchanged but new alloy wheels will be offered on it. At the rear, a redesigned bumper and a new set of LED taillights will be offered. On the inside, the new Gloster will get a refreshed dashboard with an updated infotainment screen, new connected features with AI integration, and more. Engine options on the upcoming facelift will remain unchanged. Pricing will be hiked up to a few thousand because of the added features.
Verdict
The MG Gloster is one of the most underrated SUVs. It has big size, a very spacious cabin, and cool connected features. The diesel engine is also grunt-rich as well powerful in performance. With the updated model, MG aims to revamp the sales figures of the Gloster in India. The expected launch timeline is around the mid of this year.
