2025 Karizma XMR 210: What's New?

Hero showcased the updated Karizma XMR 210 at the Auto Expo 2025, where the bike offered a USD front fork suspension, and the edition was called the Combat Edition. Just recently, the rumour mill was hot with speculations about the XMR 210 being shelved due to low sales and the imminent launch of the XMR 250, but it looks like it is going to co-exist with its bigger sibling. Hero has launched the updated 2025 with some notable upgrades, including a USD front fork suspension set-up and the much awaited Combat Editon finally making its way.

The Karizma XMR 210 is built on a robust steel trellis frame and comes equipped with a smooth 6-speed transmission, paired with a wet, slip and assist clutch for effortless gear shifts and enhanced control, especially during aggressive riding. The front suspension features 37 mm telescopic USD forks, while at its rear, it sports a gas-charged mono-shock with 6-step pre-load adjustability. Rolling on alloy wheels, the bike features a 100/80-17 tubeless tyre at the front and a wider 140/70-17 tubeless tyre at the rear, while the braking duties are handled by a 300 mm petal disc at the front and a 230 mm petal disc at the rear, complemented by a dual channel ABS.

The Hero Karizma XMR 210 comes loaded with modern features, boasting an auto-illuminated Class-D LED projector headlamp with sleek LED DRLs and a signature H-shaped LED tail light, complemented by sharp LED winkers equipped with a hazard indicator switch for added safety. It gets a 5-inch TFT screen that comes with 35+ features including smartphone connectivity, vehicle and battery status, turn-by-turn navigation, ambient light sensor, gear-shift indicator with shift advisory, and more.
Powertrain
The Hero Karizma XMR 210 is equipped with a 4-stroke, 4-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine, designed for optimal performance and efficiency. With a displacement of 210cc, the engine produces an impressive maximum power of 25.5 PS at 9,250 rpm and peak torque of 20.4 Nm at 7,250 rpm.

Variant And Pricing
The base variant is priced at Rs. 1,81,400 (ex-showroom), offering an accessible entry point. For those seeking more features and a premium experience, the top variant comes in at Rs. 1,99,750. Additionally, Hero has introduced a special Combat Edition in an exclusive grey colour scheme, priced at Rs. 2,01,500.
Verdict
Karizma XMR is one passion project for the brand it carries a special place in enthusiasts circle, with nostalgia being its biggest card that works in its favour. The new iteration do justifies the aspirational values that the Karizma moniker carries but it needed this push to seriously attain its true potential. As for the rumour mills, this puts all the speculations to rest.
