Under The Hood

Under the hood, it will maintain the same 398.63 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, and fuel-injected engine, delivering a power output of 25 PS at 10,000 rpm and torque of 19.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm. It will also feature a smooth 6-speed transmission for an enhanced riding experience.

KTM 200 Duke: Braking & Price Expectation

On the braking side, it will continue with a front brake system that includes a 300 mm disc paired with a radially mounted calliper. The rear will have a 230 mm disc with a floating calliper.

Currently priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, the new 200 Duke is expected to cost just a few thousand more than the outgoing model.

Verdict

Given the demand for small urban cars and improving EV infrastructure, there is good scope for new models under the Rs 10 lakh bracket. The Leapmotor T03 might not be the most striking EV, but it ticks all the right boxes as a solution for urban mobility.
